The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani will head to Rwanda on Monday to attend the ceremony of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, which will be held in Kigali.
The ceremony will be held in partnership with the United Nations, in the presence of President Rwanda Paul Kagame, President of Namibia Hage Geingob, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Felix Tshisekedi, President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, Deputy Secretary-General of the UN Amina Mohammed, and Vice President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities Dr Eduardo Vetere. Several international personalities will also attend the ceremony.
The Amir and the Rwandan President will honour the winners of the award’s four categories: Lifetime or Outstanding Achievement; Academic Research and Education; Youth Creativity and Engagement; and Innovation. (QNA)
